Keep the Weeds Away (Weeding)

Her: I’ve planted flowers, but never food.

Me: If you can grow flowers, you can grow food...

Her: I planted peace lilies.  (She shows me a picture of them, and says, “they come back every year.”)

Me: They are BEAUTIFUL!!!

Her: I LOVE to pull weeds.

Me: I can tell…

Her: How???

Me: Weeds represent a certain group of people. Weeding is important because they compete with your plants or fruit for water, nutrients, sunshine and space. Looking at the beautiful woman you are, and the amazing, awesome productivity of your entire family my dear, you've been very successful at keeping the WEEDS away! That’s why you love pulling them up and keeping them away from your BEAUTIFUL peace lilies. In return you are looking at the fruits of your labor every time you pull up to your home!
